masterpiece. (The Remix)

i have visions of who she used to be

young girl

innocent,

fun,

and carefree.

she’d love long talks

and love long walks..

a little unsteady and naive,

but manufactured with a heart of gold.

solid gold

not that gold-plated stuff

powerful,

yet soft.

fierce,

faithful,

and beautiful.

who will she become?

confident?

focused?

faithful?

she didn’t lose everything.

in the pursuit of she

she found some crucial missing pieces.

and has become

a mosaic;

a curated masterpiece emblazoned by the fire of God.

Like Mephibosheth, she was dropped

in the middle of her turnaround…

and broken.

yet somehow her fragments ended up in the Potter's hands,

 the safest place to be.

carefully

He’s put her back together

stronger,

more fierce,

more loving,

more hopeful,

more joyful,

more peaceful,

more compassionate,

more understanding,

and wiser.

She is not the same

She never will be

and I am thankful for that.

God’s difference made her whole

and I am honored to learn who God is making her to be.

"Every part of me is beautiful
And I finally see I'm a work of art
A masterpiece."
