The air is getting crisp, the pumpkins are out at the grocery store, and all I want to do is bake bread. It must be fall! The change of each season is a natural time to turn inward and see where you are. Use these journal prompts below as a starting point to get writing and reflecting this autumn.

Whether you are horrified or delighted by someone telling you “you’re so much like your mother,” the truth is that we all inherit qualities from our parents, and it can be valuable to identify what those qualities are. What are the traits you have inherited from your parents that you are proud of and want to make sure to continue to carry with you? What are the traits you’ve inherited that you want to un-adopt?

The word courageous comes from the Old French word corage, which means “heart or innermost feelings.” What does it mean to you to be courageous? How are you courageous in your life right now? Where in your life do you need to be more courageous in service of being true to your heart?
