To the little girl silenced by the abandonment of a father,

quietly hoping for any daddy to fulfill that role…

of unrealistic body expectations, coupled with unhealthy body modifications, paired with three shots of low self-esteem…

To the woman who has found love in midnight snacks,

that bring her more euphoria than the thrust of a cold lover’s hips…

I stand for the young woman that has suffered through generational abandonment, 

misogyny, emotional abuse, physical violence, and has become a perpetuator

of the pedagogy of her oppression…

I stand with Her.

To that single mother trying to make ends meet,

after he left you WITHOUT the bank account…

I stand with Her.

To the:

overlooked, 

overworked, 

under appreciated,

over-advertised,

treated as possession,

“manly”,

“too strong” / “too opinionated” / “too needy”  /  “too bossy”… for her own good…

WOMAN.

I will defend you!
